 European House increase awareness, inform and educate citizens about the creation of Europe by running educational actions adapted to the respective target group. They impart information and knowledge about Europe with the objective of

• giving a sense to the creation of Europe,
• justifying the complexity of the creation of Europe,
• explaining the risks and opportunities of the creation of Europe,

And of contributing in this way to the creation of a European citizenship. For this reason, they aim at

• reducing the distance between the problems of the citizens and the questions under discussion at the level of the European Union,
• linking national identities with a European identity,
• making clear the coherence and complementariness of the European, national, regional and local levels of decision-making.

European House deal with the fundamental values of the creation of Europe - peace, democracy, social model - and consider the common characteristics which shape the European Union: political pluralism, democracy, peace, social solidarity, diversity of people and talent, the richness of the common cultural heritage, the role of Europe in the global balance of power etc...
European House contribute to the establishment of European citizenship by dealing with subjects such as the democratic and communitarian constitutional State, transnational solidarity, free exchange in a Common Market…
They relate to their target groups - citizens, young people, people in continued vocational training, senior citizens - by organising appropriate events such as multinational information or educational seminars or seminars to increase awareness (within or outside of their own premises), conferences, colloquia, debates, exhibitions, information stands, study trips, etc...
